Truth, Jawlines And The American Way: The Changing Face Of Superman : Monkey See : NPR

Key aspects of his visage haven't changed at all: The strong jaw, the defined cheekbones, the cleft chin. The hair, so impossibly black that early colorists had to throw in blue highlights to keep the printing processes of the day from making it look like an inky smudge, a bug squashed between the pages. And whether he grows it short, long or achy-breaky (oh, you'll see), one thing about his hairstyle remains constant: that single S-curl descending from his hairline like the tail of a lemur.

Why Siri Can't Find Abortion Clinics & How It's Not An Apple Conspiracy

Siri’s not finding abortion clinics because Planned Parenthood and other places that perform abortions don’t call themselves that, not in their names, nor have they been associated with a category for that. That’s the best guess I have in this.

RIM BlackBerry services open up to iOS, Android | Mobile - CNET News

RIM is getting in to the MDM game. Or more accurately, it started the game, and now it's using its existing technology to cover phones people actually want and use.
RIM is taking advantage of one of its core assets: the strength of its BlackBerry Enterprise Server. For all of the knocks that its phones receive, its BlackBerry service remains the most efficient at delivering e-mails in a secure and speedy manner. That's particularly important with as employee-owned phones increasingly run confidential corporate applications and data. via RIM BlackBerry services open up to iOS, Android | Mobile - CNET News.

So How Does Apple Know You’re in the Store?

Employees armed with iPod touches get notified when customers enter the stores with their location-aware iPhones (for services like in-store pickup or an appointment), or when customers request help using in-store iPads. All the employee has to do is select a customer in a queue, get their position on an in-store map, and voilà! An an employee walks up to the customer and assists them.
Very cool or very creepy, depending on your point of view. via So How Does Apple Know You’re in the Store?.

via The Block winner tops 2011 :TV Tonight. Of the top 20 shows on Australian TV this year, I watched 4. The AFL Grand Final, The Melbourne Cup, and the first two episodes of Underbelly : Razor. Of those four, I watched the two sporting events live in a pub, and downloaded the two Underbelly episodes, so even if I did have a ratings box in my house, all four wouldn't have been counted. There's no point to this post, I just find it fascinating.
